Featured Artist - Jeriko
The hit single and title track, “From Me To You” is a hard edged, Debbie Harry-like track that probably has her giving a wink to everyone as she sings the retaliatory lyrics. “All Thumbs Up” is a song with a quirky Lou Reed-like riff and is something that Pat Benatar could have easily released in her prime. The tune “Happy” is pure, seductive pop complete with reflective lyrics and infectious rock riffs.
Internet Radio is blasting this sultry pop-rock goddess’ music at full-throttle and MTV has licensed the entire release for their catalog and it is just a matter of time before Jeriko and her masterful music is a household name.

16 Bands Enter The Pit!
Tune in this Saturday, Dec 29 @ 8pm to take part of this Interactive Radio Show.
http://www.nowlive.com/show/100258330
Internet Radio Co-Hosts Needed
First, I am looking for someone to help Co-Host my show on Saturday Nights called "The Pit"
This is an all Metal/Hard Rock Show starting at 8pm to Midnight (eastern)
Check out this page for information about the show
http://www.ilike2rock.net/pit/index.html
This person should LOVE Metal and know about Classic Rock and Metal Bands like Metallica, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Pantera etc
Be willing to learn about Unsigned/Indie Hard Rock and Metal Bands on iLike2Rock.net, Open Grave Records, and Chavis Records with more Artists and Labels being added in the future. (you wont have to know all the bands at 1 time, more of a week to week basis)
This person needs to have an Upbeat personality with a good sense of Humor and not easily offended or grossed out.
Broadband internet access, be able to call into the show using VOIP software
Willing to learn the Media Board on NowLive.com and other aspects of the show.
Be willing to research and learn about bands, download photos, grab links and upload videos and photos.
Having a computer technical background will help.
Having a Webcam is also a Plus!
Second, I am looking for a Female to help co-host a new weekly show starting in Feb. 2008, probably on Sunday Evenings.
Should have the same capabilites as listed above, except you will need a broader knowledge of music to cross over many genres.
Please note, at this time there is NO monetary compensation for doing this.
However, there are perks such as Free Music and Free CD's plus other swag that may be forwarded to us by the bands. Sometimes free access to shows.
If the shows grow strong enough to start drawing paying advertisers, Co-Hosts/Crewmembers will receive a percentage of the revenue.
If any of this sounds like it is for you, you need to do the following
1. Visit NowLive.com and check out some shows to get a good idea of what NowLive.com is about, and get a feel for what we will be doing.
2. Visit iLike2Rock.net and Check out the Bands and their music.
3. Download the Destiny Software from the Tune In page from iLike2Rock.net and tune in and listen to the station
4. If you have done all of the above, and still interested, contact me and we will talk.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions about being a Co-Host or Crewmember.
If you have problems with any of the software, or getting it to work, it is going to be your job to figure out the problem and fix it on your own. As times, during shows, we may run into questions and tech difficulties and you are going to need
to be able to direct listeners/chatters to get their issues resolved. If you can't resolve your own issues, you won't be able to help others. So consider this as part of your test ;)
Fans of our show and website are welcome to help in many ways such as posting links, helping generate traffic, creating graphics, writing reviews, find sponsors/advertisers and more!
Rock On!

iLike2Rock on NowLive.com
We are going to try and use this site once a week, usually Saturday Nights to do Live Shows where you the listener can call in and interact with the DJ's and any other guests the shows may have.
Users can enter the show like a regular chatroom without the need of any other software other than their Flash Enabled Web Browser.
Users also have the option to call into the show via their phone, skype, google talk, gizmo, yahoo, msn, or virtually any other VOIP software.
The shows will also allow the host and users to add video and pictures for a full fledge interactive experience.
The shows are recorded automatically for rebroadcasts, podcasts, or for anyone to just come and listen to past shows.
We suggest that users visit NowLive.com, explore the site, check out a few live and recorded shows and then get set up with a free account to take part in the shows and download any VOIP software they may need ahead of time if they want to call into the show using their computer.
iLike2Rock will be using NowLive.com to launch a new show called "An Evening With...." where we hold an informal show with an Independent Artist, ask some questions, talk about their music, allow callers and chatters to ask questions, spin that artists music, show some pictures and videos, and have some fun.
Get signed up for the iLike2Rock Newsletter to stay informed of upcoming shows.
We feel that NowLive.com is going to enable us to reach new audiences in 2008 and bring more exposure to the Independent Artists on iLike2Rock.net Radio

Every little thing she does is magic!
I was excited to see the CD come out so I went and purchased a copy.
There are 28 Tracks on the CD, that it is actually hard to pick one song
over another as being my favorite.
I mean The Police have written and recorded so many great songs and influenced many bands, but The Police's music is so unique, that I do not see or hear many artists trying playing their songs in clubs, or other people doing remakes of their songs.
But while I listen to the CD (as I write this) I will have to say my
favorite track on The Police CD would have to be
"Every little things she does is magic"
How many guys have had a crush on a girl and wanted to call her up and
ask her out and get cold feet? Check out some passages from the song.
Though I've tried before to tell her
Of the feelings I have for her in my heart
Every time that I come near her
I just lose my nerve
As I've done from the start
I resolve to call her up a thousand times a day
And ask her if she'll marry me in some old fashioned way
But my silent fears have gripped me
Long before I reach the phone
Long before my tongue has tripped me
Must I always be alone?
See what I mean, who hasn't felt this way when asking someone out?
If you haven't gotten the new police cd yet you should, you can relive some good memories to some classic police tunes.
Win a New York fly-away to see The Police live.
Keep Rockin!

Now it looks like I am going to get another chance as they are going out

The Police have always had their own sound and style, mixing it
up with some jazz, punk, and reggae, not to mention the voice of
Sting and the guitar workings of Andy Summers, and the steady beat
of Stewart Copeland on drums.

Radio Dogma
Radio Dogma is modern rock n' roll at it's best. Smooth vocals, guitars that go from heavy to acoustic, driving bass lines and straight ahead power drums. Radio Dogma has been compared to Nickleback.
Radio Dogma is a Sedona, Arizona based rock band out to conquer the world. They have been steadily gigging through out the SouthWest since their debut performance on June 12th, 2005. Radio Dogma's music comes from the never ending drama of the band members and the world around them.
Radio Dogma brings pure energy and focus to every performance, and the members have a knack for making peoples heads explode.
Be sure to check out the Radio Dogma video "Freedom" on our Home Page.

Bug the Movie Tailer & Soundtrack
The movie "Bug" a Lionsgate film starring Ashley Judd,
and Harry Connick Jr.
I can't wait to see this movie!
This looks like something that could really happen compared to most suspense/horror movies. A bug that gets into your blood stream and starts eating away at your brain!
The scary part is that I have actually stayed in a dump like this once when I was traveling. I had been driving for 16 hours and was so exhausted that all I wanted to do was sleep that I just plopped on the bed with all my clothes on. When I woke up I went into the bathroom to take a shower and it was so gross I left and went up the road a few miles, paid for another room, got a shower and threw away the clothes I slept in.
I am really excited about the soundtrack for bug movie!
Songs from Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, and
Serj Tankian from System of a Down, and the Chainsaw Kittens.
I have a strong feeling that I will wind up buying this soundtrack after seeing the movie.
Track List:
1. Beautiful Day - Scott Weiland
2. No Way to Live
3. She Gets - Chainsaw Kittens
4. Cowboy Boots
5. I Fell in Love - Susan Tedeschi
6. Shake 'Em Up and Let 'Em Roll
7. Searchin' - Alvin Robinson
8. This Masquerade - Leon Russell
9. Bug - Brian Tyler
10. Drug - Brian Tyler
11. Bug Theme - Serj Tankian
Check out the Video Trailer...It has my skin crawling!!
After watching the Trailer, I bet you are saying...I gotta see this...right?
I know I will be catching this on the big screen.

Ralf Buschmeyer
Ralf Buschmeyer's latest venture is a musical tribute to some
of his deepest influences. The album 'EST 1968' features 10
original compositions that range from swamp blues to reggae groove.
Although Buschmeyer is best known across Canada as predominantly a
jazz master, 'EST 1968' is more blues influenced. "This album is a
tribute to all the artists who’ve influenced me since I started
playing music," says Buschmeyer. These artists include greats such
as Steely Dan, Ray Charles, James Brown, John Scofield and Stevie Wonder.
The album captures the groves of these great musicians.

What a week!
Yesterday I added 8 new artists to our site bringing us close to 150 Artists that we promote for FREE!
I also added 4 videos to the Video Vault yesterday boosting that total to 34.
Within the last 24 hours I have received 6 emails from bands wanting to know how to appear on our site or to get their music played on the radio.
I also conversed with the Author of Collecting Vinyl Records who sent me a copy of his eBook. We exchanged links on our sites, but what I think most importantly, he really loved our site and all the "New Music" we have available right at his finger tips. He is writing articles for a site called Gemm.com and he said he is going to start reviewing Artists from our site and posting it on Gemm.
This means MORE FREE EXPOSURE for the Artists that appear on i Like 2 Rock Radio!
And I must say, if you are a Vinyl Collector, his ebook has so much information and valuable resources for the collector, that makes it a "Must Have" for your music library.
Another one of the emails I received is from USA 12th Annual Songwriting Competition that is offering up over $50,000 worth of prizes. You can check out their site for all the details.
With all the responses we have been getting, and not just by our regular channels, but from all the new resources that are coming to us, it only goes to tell us one thing. What we are doing is working!
We are committed to making i Like 2 Rock Radio the best site and Radio Station on the net for Artists and Music Lovers, and the best part, we do it for FREE!!
Be sure to drop by Tomorrow for our Talent Showcase Artist of the week!

Maiden of Iron
The Maidens were well into playing "The Number of The Beast" when
Sara's guitar went silent as she quickly hobbled off the stage.
With a few moments of witty banter by Aja, trying to grasp what was
happening, Sara then re-emerged in the arms of our wonderful crew
who brought her out with some chairs to sit on and propped her leg
up topped with a bag of ice and finished the set with a freshly
detached Achilles tendon! OUCH!
Anybody who has experienced this knows the extreme pain associated
with this type of injury, and one look at Sara's face spoke a million
words of what she was dealing with. What a lady! What a Trooper!
For those that may not be familiar with "The Iron Maidens" they are the
world's only female tribute band to Iron Maiden.
We feature the Maidens on our site and play their songs on our station.
Be sure to drop by our site and check them out sometime.

I'm Heading to Las Vegas
This will be my second trip to this city with amazingly rich entertainment.
I will be in Las Vegas for 2 weeks working on a business project, and I am hoping that I will have time to go out in the evenings and check out some local rock bands.
I am not the type of person that goes to see the big headliners that Las vegas is know for. I am more into finding good local talent to rock out to and hopefully get a chance to talk to them about getting some air time on our radio station.
If you Live in Las Vegas or a travel band playing Vegas the first 2 weeks in may, drop me a line and let me know where you will be playing at, and a link to hear some of your music before I head out, and if I get the time, I will come see you play and introduce myself between sets.
If this trip goes well for me, I might be looking for a second home in Las Vegas as it might be cheaper than a hotel.
I came across this MLS listings for Las Vegas if anyone else is interested in finding property.

See You in Las Vegas!!

Michael Paul
Michael’s natural formulation of potent lyrics and seductive vocal tones, intensified by his piano-pounding style, is dynamic from dark and painful to gentle and compassionate.
The recently released six-song EP, Reach, is a one-of-kind recording comprised of piano and vocals only. Michael says, “The idea is to broaden my audience by diminishing production antics that might otherwise charm or intimidate the listener, and just give people the song in its truest form.”
